A Thorough Look Before You Buy

Our inspection focuses on the vehicle's observable mechanical and physical condition at the time of the inspection.

Buying a Used Truck?

A PPI isn't about simply telling you whether a vehicle is "good" or "bad."

Inspection Scope & Limitations

A Pre-Purchase Inspection is based on the vehicle's condition at the time and location of the inspection and is limited to components and systems that can be reasonably accessed, observed, tested, or diagnosed without disassembling the vehicle.

The inspection does not normally include:

• Complete disassembly of major components

• Removal of engine, transmission, or other major components

• Internal inspection of engines or transmissions

• Removal of body panels or interior components

• Destructive testing

• Laboratory analysis of fluids or materials

• Long-term durability or reliability testing

• Verification of every previous repair or modification

• Confirmation of the vehicle's complete service history

• Guarantee that intermittent problems will occur during the inspection

Certain components or systems may also be inaccessible or unable to be fully tested due to the vehicle's condition, location, seller restrictions, lack of operating conditions, weather, insufficient access, or other circumstances.

If additional testing or disassembly is recommended, it may require separate authorization and additional charges.

A PPI is an inspection and assessment, not a complete teardown, certification, warranty, or guarantee of the vehicle.

We offer Pre-Purchase Inspections both mobile and at our shop, depending on the vehicle and the inspection requirements.

For mobile inspections, we can travel to the vehicle's location and inspect it where it sits.

For vehicles that require additional equipment or a more extensive inspection, the vehicle can be brought to our shop.
